Okay so I had the best weekend ever!!

My beautiful best friend took me to a hotel for my birthday present on the night we were seeing Katy Perry!! Such a fabulous idea!!! I would never have guessed it!! I decided that from now on we should buy each other a hotel room for a night for every birthday we have! That means twice a year we get a mini vacay 😉 haha.

The hotel king size bed with all white sheets was my personal favourite as well as the hotel gowns!! 😍😍 We even got an early check in and late checkout which makes such a big difference, it was perfect!

Lol this is all our luggage for one night she brought more than me for once in our lives!!! (We also brought way too many snacks as usual!!!)

It was such a good break for both of us that was much needed! We both have had such hectic schedules for the last few weeks it was just perfect timing! I can’t even remember the last time I went to a hotel, how sad is that?! We were both so run down we actually got so sick!! It was hilarious though because we tried to avoid it by pretending the sickness didn’t exist for the whole of the first day but it just caught up with us as time went by and soon enough we were both sick as dogs, going through the strepsils like there was no tomorrow! We put on a brave face for Katy though and walked in the cold with no cardis to Perth Arena to see our gal! By the end of the night we were both feeling so drained we could not wait to get back to our bed and get warm even though Katy was incredible!! The 40 degree didn’t help our sickness today either 😞(gross!!!), such a struggle!

Sav can do THE BEST GHD curls!!! I cannot do it at all 😦 I am hopeless, it just doesn’t work! She also does amazing makeup as you can see in this pic I took of her eyeshadow for the night 😊👌 PS how adorable is her hair??! So cute and so “Clueless”, don’t you think??

This is us being nervous before Katy got on stage!!

We actually got handed randomly 2 new seats when we got to the arena by a really nice man working there and we had a choice, we decided to see which had the better view and then we decided to stick with our original seats in order to get the best experience of the show. We were right! Our original seats were so much better as we had a birds eye view of the entire stage and all the effects that went on, including the 3D vision goggles, even though the new seats were closer to the stage (so cool!)

The outfits and lighting was amazing and most importantly Katy’s performance was incredible, her voice, her personalisation! My favourite part of a concert is always the parts when the artist talks to the audience and engages! I love it! Katy was so sweet and pulled up 2 different people on stage throughout the night which was nice! She is the only chick in the world who could pull off rainbow coloured hair I reckon! She is so gorgeous and down to earth!

On the way home from the concert, while in the lift on the way to our hotel room (on level 13 may I add😃), Sav COULD NOT stop giggling for the life of her the entire way up! It felt like the longest lift ever as it was extremely awkward with the giggles going on in front of all the randoms in the lift, it was hilarious. Next minute this boring old hag gets out the lift on level 12 and says under her breathe “idiots”. What a stupid bitch of a person, who says that?? Clearly we are just having a good night and having fun, no need to be rude and chuck in your 5 cents that no one cares about! She wasn’t brave enough to say it to our faces though was she?!
